My friends in I would like to ride the Long Beach Marathon(also a recreation ride) and the CivLAvia, but they are both on the same day. Any possibility a change of date; I know Long Beach cannot change. I believe there are lots of others that would like to do both events, but are already committed to Long Beach. If no change can be made I understand and will have to wait until your next event.

hey i showed up for todays ciclavia and nobody else was there!!! whats up with that people? apparently, it was cancelled but, nobody bothered to tell me…whatever. better luck in Oct.
21. Joe Linton | July 10, 2011 at 10:25 pm
Sorry you didn’t get the word – we were disappointed, too. The cancellation was announced in May https://ciclavia.wordpress.com/2011/05/24/ciclavia-expands-in-october-forgoes-july/ – next CicLAvia is October 9th 2011… If you want to keep up with the latest announcements, it’s best if you go to ciclavia.org and sign up to receive ~monthly email updates… and/or keep even more up to date by subscribing to blog posts by clicking on that in the right column on this page.

How about one after October? I rode in similar events while on vacation in Colombia. Bogota and Medellin have them every Sunday and they are great family events. Good for vendors along the route too.
