Seen on the Route: Signs and Repairs

Spotted at the corner of 4th and New Hampshire

In addition to plenty of CicLAvia signs in storefront windows, a surge in web interest, and an excellent article in today’s L.A. Times, we’re also seeing some exciting signs in the street this week!

On Monday, the city of Los Angeles’ Department of Transportation placed its white sandwich-board markers out every block or two along the route. They include signs stating ROAD CLOSED SUNDAY CicLAvia with instructions to call the city’s special events hotline for information.

The city’s Bureau of Street Services has also been out on the route. They’re repairing deteriorated pavement conditions on CicLAvia Streets. After the jump you can see before and after photos.
