On 10/10/10 CicLAvia offered Angelenos a glimpse into the city’s future. Those who took part were able to see their own city in a new and previously unimagined way. L.A.’s first CicLAvia drew 100,000 participants from a diverse cross-section of Los Angeles. 

In 2011, CicLAvia will draw an even larger audience to its two events in April and October – we anticipate more than 250,000 participants during this year alone.  Work is already underway to expand the route with additional spurs into Chinatown, South L.A., and more – to accommodate the larger crowds and expanding popularity of the program.

CicLAvia Sponsorship

CicLAvia is currently raising support to produce two events in 2011: April and October.  In partnership with Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and the City of L.A., CicLAvia is working to institutionalize the project as a recurring City program. CicLAvia offers sponsors and individuals a unique opportunity for brand exposure and positioning, including, but not limited to, PR, logo placement in online and print materials, and live event integration. We invite you to become a partner of one or both CicLAvia events in 2011 and look forward to coming up with creative ways to work with you on building this relationship.

CicLAvia Title Sponsor – $750,000
CicLAvia presented by…
• Exclusive, headlining sponsor of all CicLAvias events in 2011
• Logo and name featured prominently on all CicLAvia signage, merchandise, CicLAvia website homepage, and pr and marketing materials
• $75,000 worth of sponsorship to go towards print, digital, and radio media buys, with mention of sponsorship in ad buys
• Anchored presence at all CicLAvia rest stop opportunities along the route in 2011 (all CicLAvias = 8 rest stop opportunities)

CicLAvia Partner – $500,000
• Sponsor for all CicLAvia events in 2011
• Logo featured on select CicLAvia signage, website homepage, pr and marketing materials
• $50,000 worth of sponsorship to go towards print, digital, and radio media buys, with mention of sponsorship in ad buys
• Anchored presence at all CicLAvia rest stop opportunities in 2011 (all CicLAvias = 8 rest stop opportunities)

CicLAvia Champion- $250,000
• Logo featured on CicLAvia website homepage and pr and marketing materials
• $25,000 worth of sponsorship to go towards print, digital, and radio media buys, with mention of sponsorship in ad buys
• Anchored presence at half the CicLAvia rest stops in 2011 (four rest stop opportunities throughout 2011)

CicLAvia Patron – $100,000
• Logo featured on CicLAvia website homepage and press release
• $10,000 worth of sponsorship to go towards print, digital, and radio media buys, with mention of sponsorship in ad buys
• Anchored presence at two CicLAvia rest stops opportunities in 2011 (either two on the same day, or one rest stop on two different days – April or October)

CicLAvia Wheel – $50,000
• Logo featured on CicLAvia website and press release
• $5,000 worth of sponsorship to go towards print and digital media buys, with mention of sponsorship in ad buy
• Anchored presence at one CicLAvia rest stop opportunity in 2011 (April or October)

CicLAvia Neighborhood Sponsor – $25,000
• Logo featured on CicLAvia website and press release
• Shared presence with CicLAvia information booth at one CicLAvia rest stop opportunity in 2011 (April or October)

CicLAvia Intersection Sponsor – $3,500 & $10,000
$10,000:
• Logo featured on CicLAvia website
• Logo and company name featured on CicLAvia signage at one intersection along the route during only one CicLAvia event in 2011 (4 signs per intersection): “This CicLAvia intersection is brought to you by …” (exclusive intersection rights)

$3,500:
• Logo featured on CicLAvia website
• Logo and company name featured on CicLAvia signage at one intersection along the route during only one CicLAvia event in 2011 (4 signs per intersection): “This CicLAvia intersection is brought to you by …” (intersection shared with up to three other $3,500 sponsor)

CicLAvia’s mission is to encourage safe, vibrant public spaces, sustainable transportation, and public health through a program of car-free street events.

CicLAvia works in close partnership with Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and the City of Los Angeles.  The 10-10-10 event was made a reality through generous public-private partnerships and sponsorships. As of January 2011, CicLAvia is a non-profit organization currently awaiting its 501 (c) 3 status from the IRS, expected Spring 2011.  It is under the fiscal receivership of the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition (LACBC).
