Looking to have a fun time? And a way to make future CicLAvia events happen? What are you doing on Saturday March 5th?

GOOD magazine is throwing a party for CicLAvia! It takes place from 2-7pm on Saturday March 5th 2011 at Atwater Crossing (3229 Casitas Avenue, in Atwater Village – Northeast L.A., not far from the city of Glendale.) Tickets on sale today! Get yours early, because the price goes up if you wait and get them at the door. The event will be a fun cicLAvia-inspired street-festival style extravaganza – occupying a few different indoor rooms and parts of a large parking lot. There will be lots ot explore and discover.

Here are a few of the fun features:

• CicLAvia Film Festival – come and watch scenes from CicLAvia 10-10-10 and from ciclovías around the world.
• Valet Bike Parking – courtesy of the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition.
• Bike Clinic – bring your neglected two-wheeler and folks from the County Cycling Collaborative will patch it, lube it, pump it – performing minor repairs and giving prescriptions for any additional major work needed to be all ready to ride at CicLAvia on April 10th 2011.
• Kids Activities – kids attend free, with a paying adult! There will be kid-focused activities – especially in the afternoon 2-5pm time slot… details to be announced!
