CicLAvia at MacArthur Park Bike and Skate Expo

Back in July. we participated in the Bike and Skate Expo at MacArthur Park. The event was organized by the LAPD and Ed Reyes’s council office, CD-1. It was a perfect day. There were a ton of kids on fixies, bmx bikes, and skateboards tearing  up the street. People from around the neighborhood came over to check it out and enjoy the space too. All in all, everyone had fun. This was basically a MacArthur Park ciclovía and it was great. Because of the density of the surrounding area and proximity to transit, we think that MacArthur Park is a great street to include in CicLAvia.
