This Sunday – June 26th 2011 – show up to support CicLAvia’s South L.A. expansion! The CicLAvia South L.A. Host Committee has planned a series of monthly rides/workshops in advance of the October 9th CicLAvia event. The goals of the pre-CicLAvia events include getting the word out on CicLAvia, building more bike skills/knowledge, and having a great time riding together through South Los Angeles. Rides and workshops are in collaboration with the County Cycling Colaborative, including C.I.C.L.E., LACBC and many other awesome bike organizations, and funded by Los Angeles County Department of Public Health’s RENEW initiative.
This Sunday’s free event is at Mercado La Paloma, 3655 S. Grand Ave., Los Angeles 90007. Here’s the schedule:
