The ceremonial big check from Bikes Belong to CicLAvia!
Great news! Bikes Belong Coalition is a national non-profit foundation funded by the bicycle industry – from retailers to manufacturers to suppliers. Their mission is to put more people on bikes more often. Bikes Belong awarded cicLAvia a $10,000 grant in support of L.A.’s first ever ciclovía - planned for Sunday September 12th 2010. Thanks, Bikes Belong Coalition – we look forward to riding with you!
(Also gratitude to Community Arts Resources and the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition for your key roles on this.)
